The Centre for Criminology and Victimology at NLU Delhi organized a Symposium on Victim Advocacy, with professionals, advocates, and stakeholders engaging in discussions. Prof. (Dr.) Ranbir Singh and Prof. (Dr.) G. S. Bajpai introduced the course, and Prof. (Dr.) S. K. D. Rao shared his views.
Resource persons from various organizations, including Secure Justice, RAHI Foundation, Shakti Vahini, URJA, and Save the Children Foundation, discussed victim advocacy and assistance mechanisms. Around 20 researchers participated.
The symposium aimed to shape the upcoming accreditation course on Victim Advocacy, training system and community advocates on victim rights, needs, and protection.
