The Centre of Victimology and K.L. Arora Chair in Criminal Law, in association with the Indian Society of Victimology, organized an international conference on Reforming Prosecution for Victim Justice.
Held on June 21-22 at National Law University Delhi, the conference covered sub-themes including a victimological critique of prosecution, prosecution services for vulnerable groups, victims’ rights, victim-friendly prosecution, secondary victimization, strengthening prosecution, prosecution and abuse of power, judicial activism, and considerations in withdrawal of prosecution.
